The COMBONI MISSIONARIES work at the frontiers of the Church in the world. Sacred Heart Parish is deeply committed to the service of the African refugees in Cairo. We need your support for our various social and religious projects, such as: CHRISTIAN FORMATION The Parish is a centre from which the Gospel is proclaimed and where the Christians are trained to share and live their faith, especially through the witness of catechism. EDUCATION Sacred Heart Parish staffs and runs four schools for refugee children in order to enhance formal and informal education which is the key to development. Hundreds of young people get their education through these schools, where Muslim and Christian students learn together. WOMEN'S HUMAN PROMOTION We help empower women by providing them with formal education and technical skills. Through this particular initiative, Sudanese refugee women are able to play their role in modern society.
